The Parsons Center for Audio Studies (PCAS) provides continuing education for working audio professionals, taught by such masters as David Moulton, Tom Bates, Alex Case, Brian Doser, and David Franz (see the Faculty profiles). PCAS offers a rich array of courses, available either at PCAS or at your facility. Do you have any gaps in your understanding of audio? Any need to refresh your knowledge? To improve your skills? Do you want to do better work for yourself and your clients? Where do you want to be, in your work, a year from now? What role can effective education and training play for you? PCAS offers teachers, not just courses. They will teach you not just skills and information, but insights, knowledge, understanding, and love of craft.

Class sizes are kept small, so that the classes provide working professionals a measure of apprenticeship. The course material is college-level and above (see the descriptions), taught efficiently -- no wasting your time and attention.

Among PCAS's graduates are recording engineers, audio and video editors, broadcast engineers, sound designers, mastering engineers, repair technicians, A/V specialists, composers, musicians, home recordists, acoustic designers, audiophiles and music lovers, and faculty members and staff from many schools, colleges, and universities, including Berklee, Harvard, the Hartt School, U Mass Lowell, Boston College, NEIA, SMFA, U Conn, UNH, etc. Among other institutions represented: WGBH, WBUR, WBZ, WXKS, the BBC, Bose, Fidelity Investments, WCVB-TV, etc. Participants have come from all the New England states, and from as far away as Mexico City.
