good buying decisions a brief discussionproduct informationSeveral things contribute to good buying decisions. Product information provided by manufacturers is a beginning. You'll find a lot of that available from us. More valuable, often, is information from elsewhere especially word-of-mouth from experienced users and manufacturers' product specialists. We have that too. Reviews printed in magazines can also help, though those tend to be uncritical and, beyond basic facts, not relevant to particular buyers (to you, for instance!). And opinions and reports in online newsgroups may prove useful, but the signal-to-noise there is often high, and the experience of the users sometimes limited. More important than the raw information is how you understand and interpret it. How does it apply to you and your realities to your experience, skills, and biases; to your creative and business possibilities; to your clients and markets? How can you most appropriately compare products? Interpreting information takes attention to your realities. One party you can count on to give that attention is yourself. Another, available for you to consult with as much or little as you wish, is us. We have many resources to call upon, both printed and word-of-mouth. We're constantly learning more from users and manufacturers, both of whom we spend hours talking with every day. And we have wide experience of our customers' realities. So we're usually able to focus quickly upon factors that most relate to your choices. guidance by our staff and othersIf you consult with our staff, we will offer you whatever suits you our knowledge, information, experience, suggestions, user reports, access to product specialists, and/or common sense. Once your search is narrowed, we may have suitable product demos for you to try, if they're needed. The benefits to you of such "value added" are probably pretty obvious. Experienced professionals find them all here year after year:
Other benefits to you come later in the buying process: efficient handling of your orders, and our ability and willingness to help you if problems should arise after you buy.
