We have been doing this for years. Many customers' relationships with us date back to the 1970's. Others get started with us every day. We'll be glad to provide you with references.
Our customers work in every area of professional audio: recording, music production, mastering, video post, radio and TV broadcast, multimedia production, sound reinforcement, performance, education, manufacturing, etc. They're located throughout New England and beyond, in other states and countries. Their facilities come in all sizes, budgets, sophistications, and levels of technology. We welcome them all. Our mission is to be useful. In New England they include most recording and mastering studios, radio & TV stations, colleges and universities, and video post houses. Also many and perhaps most of the more technologically advanced project studios, corporate media departments, independent recording engineers and producers, multimedia producers, audio manufacturers, secondary schools, composers, performance centers, theaters and auditoriums, etc. We also sell to several of the country's television networks.
...This device is recommended by my pro audio dealer in Massachusetts, who set me up with the whole system currently here, which I first used for the CD that got me my Grammy nomination for best engineering. The Parsons folks don't mess around. Their prices and service are the best anywhere. My personal salesman there, and good and reliable friend, is Rick Scott.
While you're at their Web site you might look at the reports and transcripts from their conferences, which they put on every year. It was at one of them that the nominated disc was first presented. There's also an article there by me about a microphone technique called Double M-S, and an interesting exchange among several of us on the subject 'Are loudspeakers musical instruments?

Even when a manufacturer may not actively enough stand behind their product, the people at Parsons do. It makes all the difference in the world to us.
We are fortunate to have Parsons Audio. These are people who help us make decisions to buy things — important decisions that sometimes put our business on the line. It's very comforting to know that you're gonna be supported by them
...stunningly superb annual expo. ...(Parsons) really gives back to the audio community.
I can't buy pro audio gear based on pieces of paper — the glossy brochure, the spec sheet, and the price tag won't do. I buy it based on what I hear, and based on what other practicing professionals hear too. The only way I can find out what stuff actually sounds like, to know if it is a useful music production tool, is to call Parsons Audio. I try the gear out at their showroom. They stock a wish list worth of gear to choose from. Then I borrow a demo piece for a session; they can almost always make one available. Then, confident that I've found the right answer, I buy my favorite one at Parsons. Innovation moves at a constant, quick pace in the audio biz. Trends come and go. Survival in this business demands careful and considered acquisition of the gear that will help you make music for many years to come. You need a partner in this process: Parsons Audio.
fantastic advice, fair prices…. Their service is so good I feel guilty that I can't buy more stuff!
Rick Scott is beyond question one of the most gracious and considerate people I have known in a long, long time and he's one hell of a credit to your organization. In my years of doing business as a recording engineer and producer, I have rarely encountered a firm or an individual with as much integrity and also sheer joy of purpose as Parsons.
Not to take anything away from other Pro Audio shops, but there's a reason we at our radio station have worked exclusively with Parsons Audio for the past decade. When one of our systems went down several years ago, they were right there to help. We suffered no down time. Not two weeks ago, Parsons expert digital workstation guru helped troubleshoot one of our ProTools rigs. Parsons Audio's commitment to imparting knowledge, news, and functionality in a field of ever increasing complexity is a Godsend to us. They are more than a dealer of high end professional audio equipment; they are an integral part of the Pro Audio community. My audio production job has been greatly enriched by my association with Parsons Audio.
Thank you for your excellent customer service. I have always felt that I should give my business to human beings rather than to computers. The service and support you've shown me is second to none, and proves that there's more to a purchase than the price (of course you've always met competitors' prices). While I've only had a couple of instances where I had to return something, each time the return process was very easy and quickly resolved.
Your prices are competitive and the equipment is top notch. But ultimately, I decided to buy from you because I had confidence in your customer support team. It was knowledgeable and accessible; willing to talk me through problems and always returned my calls promptly. This kind of service is priceless. In the end, it makes the difference between just another sale and a satisfied customer.
Parsons Audio defines 'full service' sales professionals. The support they provide is unparalleled, immeasurably helpful, and never limited just to the items sold. My relationship with them is long and ongoing, and gives me comfort that when technology lets me down, they'll be there to save my butt.
recently built a small recording studio. During its construction and decision making concerning how to equip the studio, Parsons Audio was extremely helpful and truthful in their advice on what was best to purchase. Their prices were the best I could find anywhere, and their quotes were always accurate. Equipment was purchased and delivered in a timely fashion.
I go to Parsons because they offer great products, better pricing, and are pleasant and professional. Beyond that, they do more for the New England community of audio professionals than anyone else around. Parsons' support is invaluable and EVERYONE should show their encouragement by buying from them!
Thank you for your wonderful service. Every audio engineer, buff, and novice should have a Parsons Audio near them. 'Tell us what you need and we'll put it together for you' is the attitude I get from your company. I think you guys have something great going for you. I'm looking forward to doing more business with you.
Parsons Audio is a place where the hype is at a minimum, the prices are VERY fair, and you dn't need to feel paranoid about the purchasing process. And their outreach is great. Parsons has done more for audio knowledge in New England than just about anybody. An air of sweet reasonable calm pervades the place, which makes it easy when you're new at this and a little fearful of coming off sounding dumb with your questions, or when you're knowledgable and don't want to have to endure yet another illiterate sales argument based on hype du jour. I love buying from 'em. I love an excuse just to drop in there and hang out!
